9. Why should I get my benchtop repaired?

There are several reasons to repair a benchtop, even if it has only a minor crack or chip. Firstly, aesthetic appeal: the benchtop is a crucial element of your kitchen's design. Secondly, ease of use: damaged benchtops can sometimes cause inconvenience. Finally, and importantly, hygiene: bacteria can infiltrate cracks and chips, becoming difficult to remove. Thus, repairing your benchtop is the optimal solution.

10. Will the chip or crack on my benchtop be invisible once you complete the repair?

As expert stonemasons in Auckland, our objective for every benchtop repair job is to completely mend the damage so that the crack or chip is no longer visible. For damages that are less than 5mm in diameter, we can almost always achieve this goal. For larger chips and cracks, providing an invisible repair can be more challenging. However, the repaired surface will always look significantly better. In fact, even when repairs are not entirely invisible, the fixes are usually so subtle that they're only noticeable upon close and careful inspection.
